The City of Duncan Volunteer Fire Department celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 2002. In fact, a book has been written about this dedicated department and its history throughout the years.

Long-time Fire Chief Glenn Mackie recently retired, turning the reins over to Fire Chief Mike McKinlay. Fire Chief McKinlay commands a crew of 29 volunteer fire fighters and 7 officers.
